Donna has lived in Hendersonville, North Carolina since 1994, when she opened her own business, The Wood Shed. She is a self-taught woodworker, decorative painter, and basket maker; however, her latest style of baskets was given to her by Jim Oneacre, a former member, when he retired.

Her work is ideal for the mountain lodge, lakehouse, den, or cabin.

Her work has appeared in several catalogs, such as The J.Peterman, Orvis, Bass Pro, and Plow and Hearth. Donna has painted more than 18 bears for the Hendersonville Downtown Pubic Art Program, two of which remain on Main Street: Yogi Bear in front of The Dugout and Udi, in front of Rudy’s Jewelers. She is a charter member of the Guild.
